How to reach Ohrid

The closest international airport is Ohrid airport, only a few km away from the Granit hotel where the summer school will take place. We suggest you to take one of the several regular direct flights to Ohrid from

Ljubljana - departure on June 13 at 23:55 or June 14 at 23:55

Zurich - departure on June 14 at 17:30

Dusseldorf - departure on June 14 at 10:20

Vienna - departure on June 13 at 10:50

On the airport's web site you can find arrival and departure timetables of all flights to and from Ohrid.

During the summer period there are also several charter flights to Ohrid. The list of charter flights in 2008 will only be known in May. We will inform you when this information is available.

Via Skopje

Skopje airport is not recommended as it is 2.5-3 hours away by bus. The latest regular bus that leaves Skopje is at 18:30 and bus rate is 12-13 Euro. In order to reach Skopje bus station from Skopje airport you should use taxi, which it costs 10 euro. For more information, contact the web site of the Skopje bus station.

Organised local transportation

As some of the participants have already indicated that they will come via Skopje we will organize four special minibuses from Skopje to Ohrid:

Ohrid

Local organisers have arranged local transportation (cars, taxis) for the summer school participants to take them from the Ohrid airport to the Granit hotel. The schedule follows the flights schedule:
