Ralf Klamma

Dr. rer. nat. Ralf Klamma is an associate researcher at the Chair of Information Systems (Informatik 5) in the Department of Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University. His research covers community information systems in science, engineering, and the humanities, geographic information systems, communities of practice, social software, technology enhanced learning, and entrepreneurship. Klamma has a diploma and a PhD in computer science from RWTH Aachen University. He is a member of the German Informatics Society, the German Collaborative Research Center "Media and Cultural Communication," and was a leader of the "Social Software" work package in the European Network of Excellence in Professional Training (PROLEARN).
