The ICITST aims to provide a highly professional and comparative academic research forum that promotes collaborative excellence between academia and industry. The objectives of the ICITST are to bridge the knowledge gap between academia and industry, promote research esteem in secured Internet transactions and the importance of information technology evolution to secured transactions. The ICITST-2009 invites research papers that encompass conceptual analysis, design implementation and performance evaluation. All the accepted papers will appear in the proceedings published by IEEE and fully indexed by IEEE Xplore. All the ICITST papers are indexed by DBLP.

TELECOM Saint-Etienne and the Carinthia University of Applied Science are organizing a special issue in the "IEEE transactions on Learning Technologies" International Journal. The issue is focused on Remote Laboratories, and is entitled "The Many Faces of Remote Laboratories in Engineering Education". Our auto observation tool for scientific communities contains at present 1527 projects, of which 235 are newsfeeds, 95 newsletters, 488 web sites, 68 mailinglists and 641 blogs. The number of caught entries totals 115841 for the feeds, of which 4947 were retrieved last week. For the newsletters totals 3496 entries, of which 15 were retrieved last week, for the mailinglists there are 98997 entries, of which 400 last week and for the blogs there are 217617 entries, of which 452 last week.
The feed project with the highest activity level last week was Handelsblatt.com, with 653 entries, 15 less than the top-project of the week before - Handelsblatt.com. The top mailinglist project last week was LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange, with 228 entries, 44 less than the top-project of the week before - LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange. The top blog project last week was Marginal Revolution, with 38 entries, 24 less than the top-project of the week before - Read/WriteWeb.
