The Twelfth IASTED International Conference on Computers and Advanced Technology in Education
Call-Art: Conference, Paper submission deadline: Jul 03, 2009
The Twelfth IASTED International Conference on Computers and Advanced Technology in Education (CATE 2009) will act as a major forum for the presentation of innovative ideas, approaches, developments, and outcomes of research projects in the area of technology-based education as well as the exchange of information between researchers, faculty, administrators and practitioners. Main groups of conference topics include but are not limited to applications of advanced technology and software-hardware systems for modern teaching and learning, best practices and case studies on innovative technology-based teaching strategies and instructional design approaches, institutional strategies and policies on technology-based education and training, technology-based open and distance education, national and international projects and collaboration, and technology as an enabler of globalization of education. All papers submitted to this conference will be double-blind peer reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee and related technical committees. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality, significance, technical soundness, presentation, and references. The conference chair makes the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of the paper. CATE 2009 will be held in conjunction with the IASTED International Conferences on: * Human-Computer Interaction (IASTED-HCI 2009)

*** PROLEARN Academy - Measure

Our auto observation tool for scientific communities contains at present 1567 projects, of which 238 are newsfeeds, 95 newsletters, 512 web sites, 68 mailinglists and 654 blogs. The number of caught entries totals 129970 for the feeds, of which 5048 were retrieved last week. For the newsletters totals 3647 entries, of which 19 were retrieved last week, for the mailinglists there are 102993 entries, of which 584 last week and for the blogs there are 230499 entries, of which 534 last week.

The feed project with the highest activity level last week was Handelsblatt.com, with 747 entries, 167 more than the top-project of the week before - Handelsblatt.com. The top mailinglist project last week was LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange, with 331 entries, 17 more than the top-project of the week before - LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange. The top blog project last week was Read/WriteWeb, with 39 entries, 3 more than the top-project of the week before - Marginal Revolution.
