CMC2008 - 3rd International Conference on Concept Mapping

Tallinn, Estonia & Helsinki, Finland, Sept. 22-25, 2008. CMC2008, the Third International Conference on Concept Mapping has as a purpose bringing together scholars and practitioners interested in the use of the concept mapping tool first developed at Cornell University in 1972. It is being organized by Tallinn University in Estonia, University of Helsinki in Finland, and the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition. If follows on the success of the First Conference held in Pamplona, Spain in 2004 and the Second Conference held in San Jose, Costa Rica in 2006.

Our auto observation tool for scientific communities contains at present 1459 projects,
of which 235 are newsfeeds, 95 newsletters, 421 web sites, 71 mailinglists and 637 blogs.
The number of caught entries totals 74275 for the feeds, of which 4353 were retrieved last week. For the newsletters totals 3082 entries, of which 18 were retrieved last week, for the mailinglists there are 86608 entries, of which 687 last week and for the blogs there are 180900 entries, of which 527 last week.
The feed project with the highest activity level last week was Handelsblatt.com, with 520 entries, 99 more than the top-project of the week before - Handelsblatt.com. The top mailinglist project last week was LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange, with 277 entries, 25 more than the top-project of the week before - LM_NET: Library media specialist information exchange. The top blog project last week was Moving at the speed of creativity, with 54 entries, 5 less than the top-project of the week before - Applesfera.
